Our elegant 2009 liveaboard was specially constructed for the scuba diving. It has a length of 40 meters and a width of 9 meters. The ironwood exterior and teak interior provide you with a feeling of warmth and luxury in indigenous style. Damai I can accommodate 12 guests (possibly 14 as a charter}. Comfort and safety are our key issues. The rich and mysterious waters of the Indonesian Archipelago are superb for diving. We offer cruises to Alor, Bali, Banda sea, Cendrawasih Bay, Komodo, Raja Ampat, Asmats, Triton Bay and the Forgotten Islands. The length of the trip varies from 6 to 13 days. The crew will ensure your liveaboard experience and underwater adventures shall be memorable for life!


Damai 1 accommodates its guests in 7 deluxe cabins. All cabins have an en-suite bathroom and individual airco. Daily housekeeping is part of the service. Clean Towels and toiletries will be provided. For a small fee, we take care of your laundry. Below deck has a master cabin (40 sqm) with panoramic ocean view and 4 double cabins. The main deck has 1 master cabin (35sqm) with private balcony. The bridge deck has a double cabin. Most double beds can be separated into two single beds.


The cool and spacious lounge area is furnished with comfortable sofas, dining table, fridge, charging points, television library etc. The large shaded sundeck is a magnificent place to rest and marvel at the views. You will find total relaxation and refreshment in the massage parlour/spa. Your first treatment will be complimentary. Our crew consists of 18 dedicated and highly trained members.


The onboard menu offers a continental and cooked breakfast, lunch, intermezzo snacks and a la carte gourmet dinner. Vegetarian- and other dietary requirements will be accommodated by our chefs. There can be outside dining as well as inside the lounge.


The Damai I offers a divemaster to every 4 divers. He or she will assist you in every way and take care of your safety. We have a large dive deck with rinse tanks and showers, a camera room with camera workstations. Each diver can choose to dive with either air or nitrox. For those who are not certified, courses are available on board. All dives start from a specially built diving zodiac.
